Add Public Witness Scheduler to your iPhone home screen

This creates an app-like shortcut on your iPhone so Public Witness Scheduler is easy to open later. The shortcut still opens the same secure website, but it behaves more like an app icon on your phone.

1. Open the site in Safari

  1. On your iPhone, open Safari.
  2. Go to pws.peninsulalogic.com.
  3. If needed, sign in to confirm you are on the right site.

2. Tap the Share button

  1. Look at the bottom toolbar in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button, the square with an arrow pointing up.
  3. This opens the iPhone share sheet with additional actions.

3. Choose Add to Home Screen

  1. Scroll down through the share sheet options.
  2. Tap Add to Home Screen.
  3. If you do not see it right away, keep scrolling or tap Edit Actions to add it.
Tip: On some iPhones the option appears lower in the list, especially if many sharing actions are enabled.

4. Confirm the shortcut name

  1. Your iPhone will show a preview of the home-screen icon and shortcut name.
  2. You can leave the default name or shorten it if you prefer.
  3. Tap Add in the top-right corner.

5. Open PWS from your home screen

  1. Return to your home screen.
  2. Look for the new Public Witness Scheduler icon.
  3. Tap it any time you want to open the scheduler quickly.
Note: If you are asked to sign in again later, that is normal. The shortcut opens the secure website, not a separate downloaded app.
